In 1993 the Crystal Memories line was introduced in an effort to solve many all-around gift giving needs, as these items were reasonably priced, reflected a special memory, such as a childhood toy or tea pot. The items were made of crystal with gold-plated detailing which allowed great detail for such reasonably priced items. As time progressed, it became apparent that there was a need for more speciality gift items(Mother's Day, Valentine's Day. etc) using a wider range of materials and that the items be more functional. Based on this, the Swarovski design team headed in a new design direction which is called CRYSTAL MOMENTS. Crystal Moments incorporates the needs and desires of innovation and functionality and specialized gift giving for those very special occasions. You will notice that the new name and description will start to appear on Crystal Memories packages introduced by Swarovski this summer and then into the catalogs and product listings.

This category once again had a name switch to Swarovski Crystal Celebrations in 2010 so you will notice the items now listed in the Swarovski price book under this new category name.
