In the Western world, Easter is observed on the first Sunday after the full moon that occurs on or after the first day of spring (Spring Equinox)
This explains why it is a different date each year. Christians in the Eastern parts of the world observe Easter according to the date of the Passover festival.

Lent and Easter
Lent covers a forty six day period prior to Easter. People observing Lent vow to abstain from certain foods substances or practices during this time.

Holy Week
Holy Week is the final week of Lent and begins with Palm Sunday commemorating the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.
Holy Thursday is for the Last Supper
Good Friday is the anniversary of the Crucifiction Easter Sunday celebrates the resurrection of Jesus
Easter Eggs
Easter symbols usually relate to life, renewal and
fertility.(Along the same lines as spring brings forth new life as we see the gardens blooming with
vibrant colored flowers.)
The egg could be symbolic of NEW LIFE but others
