More Information about Swarovski Crystal

More Information about Wonders of the Sea 2005-2007Designer Heinz Tabertshofer has created Community exclusively for members of the Swarovski Crystal Society (SCS). It forms the third and final part of the Wonders of the Sea trilogy. Together with the annual editions from 2005 and 2006, Harmony and Eternity,Community completes the panoramic trilogy. The main focus of Community is placed on the charming inhabitants of the South Seas: tree bannerfish. These members of the butterfly fish family have long dorsal fins and diagonal stripes. They are known for their community spirit and are extremely rare to find outside the school. Forming the backdrop to this piece, an amazingly filigree coral gives the impression it is swaying along with the warm currents of the South Seas. Again, you had the choice between two different versions. Community was available in clear crystal like the waters of the South Seas, or in Jonquil and Black Diamond. In addition to the Annual Edition Community 2007, the theme encompasses a clear crystal Community Pendant, a set of 15 Miniature Top Shells, the Illuminated Display Community and of course the Title Plaque Community. All SCS annual editions (2005 - 2007) will be available exclusively to SCS members until December 31, 2007. Last annual edition in the trilogy "Wonders of the Sea". 3 longfin bannerfish in fully faceted clear crystal with corals in unfaceted clear crystal. 2007 edition. Exclusive to SCS members only. 2006 Swarovski Annual Edition Eternity Turtle SCS Member Exclusive items 2006 SCS Annual Edition - A symbol of Eternity. The second in the Wonders of the Sea trilogy exclusive for Swarovski collector society members. If you are not a member, you can easily join today. The turtle is one of the oldest creatures in existence, dating back more than 150 million years. Since time immemorial, in all cultures and countries of the world, it has been surrounded by a multitude of myths and legends. To this day, the turtle symbolizes continuity and endurance, patience and wisdon, fertility and spirituality. Eternity was designed exclusively for SCS members. It is the SCS 2006 Annual edition. Gracefully and effortlessly, the turtle glides through the endless depths of the ocean. Corals and shoals of fish set the scene for the sea turtle's graceful glide through the clear water. For over 100 years, this name has stood for top-quality, full cut crystal, expertly faceted and polished to extract every spark of its fiery brillance. And from this tradition, we launched the "Silver Crystal" line of figurines and decorative objects in 1976. Within a short space of time they had captured the hearts of collectors all over the world. With Swarovski Silver Crystal gaining in popularity, we decided in 1987 to create the Swarovski Collectors Society. It seemed to us the perfect way of bringing together a growing number of individuals with a common interest and giving them benefits that would be linked exclusively to Society membership. As a fourth-generation member of the Swarovski family and great-grandson of our company's founder, Daniel Swarovski, I am proud that SCS has so rapidly established a position for itself in our long tradition it is my pleasure and privilege to invite you personally to join us." Yours very sincerely, Gernot Langes-Swarovski If you don't already belong to the Swarovski Collectors Society (S C S), why not take a few minutes to find out the advantages of Society membership? As of 2005, the Swarovski Collectors Society will be called Swarovski Crystal Society. The new gift and renewal gift will be a starfish...and we are still awaiting word on what the renewal gifts will be for the year 2006 and 2007. *As authorized United States Swarovski dealers, we are only permitted to enroll new members if they have addresses within the United States. Please email us and we will help you find a Swarovski dealer in your area.
