Togetherness - Lovebirds Two birds nestled close together in the branch of a tree, the branches of which form the subtle suggestion of a heart around them. Frankie Fox Jones is an accomplished torch working glass artist and is the principal engraver for the Frabel Studio. She began her career with the glassblowing lab of Don Lillie, Inc., in Atlanta at a time when Hans-Godo Fräbel was there as partner and principal artist. She left Lillie in 1983 to open her own studio. After this stint on her own as a torch artist she joined the staff at the Fräbel Studio in 1987. She is also one of two teachers supplied by the Studio to the Spruill Center for the Arts in the cooperative, adult-education venture between the Studio and the Center to make torchworking skills available to the general public in Atlanta.
