The multifaceted, Swarovski Crystal Paradise Rosella Parakeet -Parrot Mega Bird has such an awe-inspiring size you need to see it in person to realize the actual size of this magnificent bird. The Rosella parakeet is found exclusively on the Australian island of Tasmania and on a few of the isles within the Bass Strait which is the body of water separating Tasmania from the Australian mainland. It is a member of the Platycercus genus. This Rosella parrot joins the Cockatoo, Toucan and Macaw as the fourth in the Mega Bird series. Just a reminder that the Macaw is scheduled for retirement in July 2007.
