Soaring Free! This sculptural rendering of a Seagull in Flight was personally handcrafted in hot boron glass by Klaus Widmann Associate of Atlanta’s Fräbel Studio to suggest the freedom and thrill that arises from unfettered flight.
This sculpture is from the Fräbel Studio collection of animals, birds and fish. Each one is made from heated boron
glass rods with simple,traditional hand tools, and in accordance with a model
approved by the principal artist. Since the correlation between example and model is entirely visual, each piece will reflect the mood and intention
of the artisan at the moment of
creation and thus will vary from all other examples, even as the creatures of nature will vary.
