Man and Boulder Glass Sculpture Regardless of Obstacles! This sculptural rendering of a Man and Boulder was personally handcrafted in hot boron glass by Sieglinde Widmann Chief of Artisans of Atlanta's Fräbel Studio to depict the perseverance and indomitable spirit necessary of the achievement of goals in face of difficult and intimidating obstacles. Glass lends itself especially well to the depiction of motion, for during the actual act of fashioning a figure the glass is in fact molten and therefore it is a matter of holding a particular position to "freeze" that motion.
