In recreating the atmosphere of the Arctic; in re-transcribing its subtle, ever-changing colours. which range from glacier blue to pale grey and radiant iceberg white, without any distinct contrasts. Swarovski once again breaks new ground in its work with crystal, and gives it a whole new aspect. As if emerging from a block of ice, sculpted in a natural, almost primitive way, the iceberg ,known as "Iluliac" in the Eskimo language , imposes a majestic presence as a symbol of the white Arctic desert.
This centerpeice sculpture with its stunning size and irregular cut reflects the light in many prismatic variations. A serial number is laser-engraved in the side of each piece. There is no set number of these at this time but it is limited to the year of issue which is 2005, according to my SW rep. Once the issue is closed, we will try to find out what the total number of pieces made were.
