Townsend Glass hand-made, lamp-worked sculptures gracefully capture motion and fluidity in beautiful borosilicate crystal.

The ancient art of producing hand crafted glass objects over an open flame is re-enacted in each Townsend Glass sculpture. Using the methods perfected by the masters over the centuries, each unique and exquisite piece is individually wrought over a 3ooo degree flame. No molds are ever used.

Our select group of gifted and highly skilled American artisans creates each sculpture with great intensity of concentration, matched only by the intensity of the flame itself.

These elegant forms in dancers and wildlife appear to be suspended in movement as they leap and run.

Each sculpture is individually signed and dated after approval by a committee of Townsend Glass studio artists.
