Golden Stairs, Lost Wax Sculpture The "Golden Stairs" is truly a remarkable piece. It is made using the 2,000 year old Chinese art form of "Pate de Ver" or "Lost Wax". Each piece goes through about 8 stages before being put into the temperature controlled ovens and takes from 6 to 25 days to make. Although the shape and size are always the same, the color will vary somewhat depending on how the colors melt and mold. These are truly collectable. Also available in two larger sizes: H003-2 - 9" x 6" x 3.5" H003-3 - 11.5" x 8" x 4.25"
