More Information about Buick DesignsBuick Designs is a partnership of Robert, glass artist and Lisa Buick, goldsmith. They work out of their own glass and metal studio in Sherkston, Ontario, Canada. Robert’s line of work consists of sand cast glass sculpture and his signature plates in stands. He has developed many unique kiln-firing techniques to pursue his concepts of combining blown and fused glass into forms that normally cannot be done using one technique alone. Lisa’s ability to flame work glass has been a natural progression to the line of work that they produce. Inspired by the glass form Robert and Lisa’s glass masks with metal headpieces showcase their complimentary talents and combined experience of
more than twenty years. The objective of Buick Designs is to create original, contemporary pieces that are timeless in design. Originality and quality are the corner stone of their business.
