JUBILEE SCS 25TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION 2012 DRAGON. The year 2012 is considered to be the Chinese year of the Water Dragon, thus Swarovski designer Elisabeth Adamer has designed the base of this regal Satin Crystal dragon to resemble a bed of sea foam in clear crystal. His intense eyes are bright red and very dramatic looking. Ancient Chinese Dragons symbolize the ultimate in cosmic energy and are a very powerful symbol of good fortune, thus possessing the powers of new beginnings, high achievement, prosperity and success. There are five Chinese elements that are symbolized by the dragon - Fire, Water, Wood, Metal and Earth which overlay an 8 year cycle. As the Majestic Water Dragon, ruler of 2012, is said to have the power to provide water for parched lands, it symbolizes abundance, relief and balance. This is a spectacular sculpture and one I believe many will want to have in their Swarovski or Dragon collection.
