Robert Eickholt founded Eickholt Glass in 1978. Eickholt Glass was established to allow for the development of new designs and decorating techniques for handblown glass. Since that time, a full line of unique glass art has emerged. Paperweights, perfume bottles, eggs, vases and sculptures have been designed to reflect the artist's obsession with the extra-ordinary, creating a distinctive line of fine art glass. The finely crafted pieces released from the Eickholt Glass Studio have become a well respected tradition. This reputation, earned by their one-by-one production method, has led to great international acclaim for this Columbus, Ohio studio. Fundamental to the Eickholt philosophy is recognizing and reacting to the dynamic art market.
